Professional praise for sublime Spieth

Tiger Woods: "Jordan is making a great job of it. The difference [between me in 1997] is that he's separated himself between first and third.  I didn't have that separation after two rounds, I believe I only had a three shot lead at the time.  So there's a big difference. He's put out a big enough gap between the rest of the pack."

“Jordan is playing unbelievably well and obviously we’re all watching the leaderboard. He’s not thinking about anything right now and that’s a great place to be at for him.”
Ernie Els

Graeme McDowell: “Jordan put a similar performance to this in at Orlando last year, at Tiger’s event. On a tough course he kept accelerating away from the field. He seems to have that extra gear. This is a different kettle of fish, but I wouldn’t put it past him. He’s a very, very quality player and I wish him well.”

Louis Oosthuizen:"What he's doing, the way he's playing, that is something very special. It's all going to be on him on the weekend. Brilliant."

Sergio Garcia:“Amazing display of golf from Jordan Spieth!”

“I don’t know what course Jordan is playing but it’s not the same one I’m playing. Wow.”

Mark O’Meara:“I see a lot of parallels between him and Tiger.  Jordan is just such a great individual, too, on top of what he's performed on the golf course.  He gained a lot of experience last year certainly contending here and a lot of other tournaments.  And he's got off to a fabulous start this year with a win and coming into this red hot, so it doesn't surprise me. He's the most respectful, polite young man and to see him perform at the level he's performing, he's won at every level.  He was a heck of a junior player, a heck of a college player, and he's come on and burst on the scene on Tour."

Danny Willett: “The most impressive thing about Jordan is that he’s not doing anything wrong. He’s not making many mistakes, and if he does get it wrong he’s still getting it up and down and making pars. At the minute he’s riding a wave and playing so great golf.”

Geoff Ogilvy: "It's just kind of business as usual for him.  It's every single week he seems to be on top of the leaderboard playing well. It's not that easy out there.  It's getting blustery, and he's obviously aware of his skills at the moment and he's loving it."

And some from back home…

Paul Lawrie: “Incredible performance so far for Jordan Speith and also great to see Tiger smiling and breaking 70.”

Pablo Larrazabal:“What about @JordanSpieth? 21 years old, just his second Masters and 64, 66... No words... Good luck over the weekend...”
