Pro-Am draw for Dubai Duty Free Irish Open hosted by the Rory Foundation released

A host of the European Tour’s finest players and stars from the worlds of sport, music and TV will grace the pristine fairways of Ballyliffin Golf Club in tomorrow’s Dubai Duty Free Irish Open hosted by the Rory Foundation Pro-Am – the fourth Rolex Series event of 2018.

Tournament host Rory McIlroy will be joined by celebrated jockey Sir AP McCoy, among others, in a team which tees off at 9.30am, while defending champion Jon Rahm is off at 8.00am.

Former Republic of Ireland, Manchester City and Newcastle United goalkeeper Shay Given will play alongside Dylan Frittelli in a team which tee off at 9.10am, while Donegal’s GAA football captain Michael Murphy will swap his football boots for golf clubs in a star-studded group alongside fellow Gaelic footballer Kieran Donaghy and former Ireland rugby international Stephen Ferris – they tee off with Pablo Larrazábal at 12.30pm.

Reigniting old rivalries will be popstars Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy, formerly of Westlife and Boyzone respectively, while Strictly Come Dancing’s Anton du Beke will sprinkle some more showbusiness stardust in a group which are off at 1.10pm with David Howell.

European Tour Foundation ambassadors Rick Shiels and Peter Finch – both popular figures on YouTube – will join West Wing star Richard Schiff and former Dubai Duty Free Irish Open champion Mikko Ilonen winner in a team which tees off at 7.40am.

Tickets for the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open hosted by the Rory Foundation are on sale at www.dubaidutyfreeirishopen.com and begin at €20 for Pro-Am Wednesday, with tickets for Thursday and Friday costing €32 and day tickets for the weekend costing €34 each. An adult season souvenir ticket, which covers five days of world class golf from Wednesday to Sunday, costs just €110.
