Price on the victory march

Terry Price birdied the first three holes of his final round back nine at the Pon Senior Open to set up a victory march to his first Senor Tour title.

The Australian dropped a shot on the par four 13th, but remains six clear of his nearest challenger Barry Lane as the tournament enters its final stretch.

Price’s performance from the start of the week has been quite remarkable and he has dominated the €400,000 event throughout. He now looks on course to smash the Senior Tour’s largest winning margin of the season (currently set by Tim Thelen’s three-shot win at the Berenberg Bank Masters).

Lane is currently on course to take second place on his own, one clear of Frenchman Marc Farry and two ahead of Bernhard Langer, Kevin Spurgeon and Mike Harwood.
