Porsche European Open day two - What they said

Englishman Ashley Chesters posted a flawless 67 to grab the clubhouse lead before the second round of the weather-affected Porsche European Open was suspended due to darkness.

Here, we take a look at what some of those who finished their second rounds on Friday had to say.

Stephen Gallacher (70, -6)

"It's been going well. It's just a shame about the delays and I just bogeyed the last there, but apart from that I'm really happy with the day. I'm playing pretty good. It was good to play links the last couple of weeks, I really enjoyed that – I grew up playing it and we don’t play it very often – but I’m starting to hit the ball well so we’ll see what happens."

Richie Ramsay (68, -6)

"It was tough at times with those two heavy showers that came in but I played solid. My chipping and putting were good, which was really  pleasing. Obviously Jimmy (Walker) and Thorbjørn (Olesen) played well which made it good for the group - we sort of pulled each other along."

Johan Edfors (67, -6)

"I played some really good golf today and had to wait for that last birdie, but it was worth the wait! If the ball stops where it lands it usually works in my advantage, so a wet course is pretty good for my game. I'll try to keep playing as I have, today I holed a few putts so that was really nice, but I have been striking the ball really nicely all week, so I will try to keep on doing that."
