Chase Hanna’s decision to travel to Europe to begin his career on the European Challenge Tour proved to be a wise one as he finished 13th in the Road to Mallorca Rankings to earn a DP World Tour card for 2022.
The 27-year-old American enjoyed a solid season on the Challenge Tour, starting the year with a third place finish at the Dimension Data Pro-Am during the South African Swing before finishing second at the Open de Bretagne in June. The American recorded six additional top ten finishes on the Challenge Tour but is still in search of that illusive first victory on European soil.
Hanna took advantage of several European Tour invites this season and recorded two sixth place finishes at the Hero Open and Cazoo Open supported by Gareth Bale, providing himself with crucial preparation for next season and evidence he can compete on the top tier.
