The trio will tee off at Royal St George’s in Sandwich, Kent, at 2.21pm on Thursday, in the group after reigning Masters Tournament champion Charl Schwartzel of South Africa, in-form American Steve Stricker and World Number Two Lee Westwood of England, who are due out at 2.10pm.

The only man currently above Westwood in the Official World Golf Ranking, Barclays Scottish Open champion Luke Donald of England, starts his quest for a maiden Major title at 9.20am alongside Spaniard Sergio Garcia and young Japanese sensation Ryo Ishikawa.

In the group ahead of Donald, US Open Champion Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland will begin his bid to secure back-to-back Major titles at 9.09am in the company of 2002 Open Champion Ernie Els of South Africa and American starlet Rickie Fowler.

Another young sensation, Italian Matteo Manassero, tees off at 8.31am alongside former Masters Tournament champion Angel Cabrera of Argentina and another in-form American, Nick Watney.

Scott Jamieson’s reward for securing the last available place in the field is an 11.53pm tee time alongside American Chad Campbell and Englishman Kenny Ferrie, whilst two-time Open Champion Padraig Harrington of Ireland will be joined on the first tee by reigning Amateur Champion Bryden Macpherson of Australia and World Number Seven Matt Kuchar of America at 1.21pm.
