On the tee: at the Omega European Masters

Matt Fitzpatrickwill begin the defence of the Omega European Masters alongside Matt WallaceandThomas Pieters.

Fitzpatrick will be aiming to become the first back-to-back winner at Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club since Seve Ballesteros in 1978. The Englishman beat Scott Hend in a play-off 12 months ago to win his fourth European Tour trophy.

While Wallace triumphed at last week's Made in Denmark for his third title of the season, Pieters will be aiming to become the first Belgian to win this event since 1955. The trio begin at 08:20 local time.

Martin Kaymer, Lee Westwood andAndrew Johnstonwill tee off at 08:30. With 35 European Tour wins between them, that group is sure to attract a large following.
