Rose, who swept to a two-shot victory last year at Royal Aberdeen for his seventh European Tour title, tees it up at 1320 in round one and the World Number Seven has five-time Major winner and 2013 Scottish Open champion Mickelson and Glaswegian Warren, who will be looking to build on a fine record in this event having finished top three in two of the last three years.

Elsewhere, Rickie Fowler returns to Scotland for his second appearance in the tournament and he will play the first two rounds alongside Ryder Cup foes Jamie Donaldson and Ian Poulter with that star threeball getting started in East Lothian at 0830 on Thursday.

Winner of the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open Hosted by the Rory Foundation six weeks ago on another world-renowned links layout in Royal County Down, Soren Kjeldsen is joined at 0840 by former US Open winner Graeme McDowell and American Matt Kuchar, who finished tied tenth in his last appearance at the Scottish Open four years ago.

Meanwhile, World Number 22 Brooks Koepka, who won the Scottish Hydro Challenge in his days on the Challenge Tour, is back in Scotland and tees off at 0850 with Germany’s Marcel Siem and Dane Thomas Bjorn while 2011 Scottish Open winner Luke Donald is off at 1240 with Open de Espana champion James Morrison and Australian John Senden.

Scotland’s own, David Drysdale, gets the 2015 Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open started at precisely 0630 while England’s Richard Bland closes out proceedings nine hours and ten minutes later in hitting the final drive of the day from the first tee box.
