Thorbjørn Olesen saw his lead stretch to four shots as the third round of the Lyoness Open powered by Greenfinity began at Diamond Country Club.

The 22 year old Dane parred his first three holes, but with nearest challenger Thomas Levet bogeying the first and third the Sicilian Open winner extended his overnight advantage by one.

He reached 12 under par on Thursday by completing an opening 64 and following it with a second round 68 before lightning halted play with all of the afternoon starters on the course.

However, on returning this morning none were able to get close to Olesen.

Frenchman Benjamin Hebert reached eight under by turning in a four under par 32 to join England's Richard Bland, Dutchman Wil Besseling and Swede Rikard Karlberg in second place.

Olesen carded his first birdie of the day at the long sixth, but with Hebert gaining further shots at the tenth the gap between the two was down to three shots.
