George O’Grady, Chief Executive of The European Tour and Richard Hills, Ryder Cup Director, were special guests at a British-Irish reception in Westminster on Monday night.
The reception – hosted by Tourism Ireland and CHAMP – was also attended by Taoiseach Enda Kenny, Secretary of State for Northern Ireland the Rt Hon Owen Paterson MP, Tourism Ireland CEO Niall Gibbons and Labour Party leader the Rt Hon Ed Miliband MP.
The reception followed Taoiseach Kenny’s meeting with British Prime Minister David Cameron at Downing Street earlier in the day where they unveiled their new joint agreement on British-Irish relations.
