The Northern Ireland Open returns to the Challenge Tour schedule in 2024 for the first time in four years.
Galgorm Castle Golf Club has produced several nail-biting finishes in the eight times it has hosted a Challenge Tour event to date, with players set to tee it up there once again from July 25-28.
It will be the tenth occasion Northern Ireland has hosted the Challenge Tour, having done so for the first time in 2003 with Darren Clarke triumphing in the Benmore Developments Northern Ireland Masters at Clandeboye Golf Club in Belfast.
Ten years later, Challenge Tour golf returned to Northern Ireland and for the first time to Galgorm for the Northern Ireland Open Challenge presented By Clannah and XJET where Daan Huizing claimed victory via a playoff. It would remain at Galgorm for eight successive years with several different iterations of the Northern Ireland Open.
Past champions include 2023 BMW PGA Championship winner Ryan Fox and 2023 SDC Championship winner Matthew Baldwin.
