The 19 year old came through a three-way play-off for two spots in the sectional qualifying at Springfield Country Club in Ohio after rounds of 70 and 65.

Noh, who also recently qualified for The Open Championship via International Final Qualifying Asia, will line up for the year’s second Major at Pebble Beach from June 17 to 20 alongside the world’s best golfers.

Earlier this year he defeated his idol and fellow Korean KJ Choi in the Maybank Malaysian Open for his first European Tour title.

He is currently second on the Asian Tour Order of Merit and is widely tipped to become the youngest player to be Asia’s Number One.

Meanhwile India’s Arjun Atwal will also be making an appearance in the US Open after claiming one of the seven tickets at the Woodmont Country Club in the United States. The 2003 Asian Number One posted a total of 138 (68,70).
