Nemo joins as sponsor of the Wales Senior Open

Secured lender Nemo Personal Finance has announced that it will sponsor the SSE Enterprise Wales Senior Open next month.

Nemo join SSE Wales Senior Open as sponsor

Following their association at last year’s hugely successful Senior Open Championship Presented by Rolex, Cardiff-based Nemo will once again work with the European Senior Tour to support the SSE Enterprise Wales Open, which will be played on The Celtic Manor Resort’s Roman Road Course from May 29-31.

The personal finance firm, which has become a major force in the secured loans market since its launch ten years ago, is a subsidiary of the Principality Building Society, which sponsors the Wales Junior Open. Both companies also supported the 2014 Senior Open Championship Presented by Rolex, which was held at Royal Porthcawl Golf Club.

Alan Jarman, Chief Executive Officer of Nemo Personal Finance, said: “In Nemo’s tenth year, I am delighted that we can support the 2015 Wales Senior Open when it is played at The Celtic Manor Resort in May.

“This prestigious event brings with it the opportunity to showcase Wales to a wide-ranging audience, and bring world-class sporting greats to South Wales. Nemo is proud of its heritage as a successful Welsh company that is supporting its communities, and this event helps to support the local economy and promote sport to a huge audience. The business is going from strength to strength, and we are very excited to be associated with this fantastic event.”

Andy Stubbs, Managing Director of the European Senior Tour, said: “We are delighted that Nemo will be part of the SSE Enterprise Wales Senior Open.

“Nemo has already shown its commitment to golf through its support of last year’s Senior Open Championship at Royal Porthcawl, so we are looking forward to working with them again at The Celtic Manor Resort in May.”

Nemo has also been proactively involved in the community through its support of charities and community activities, with Stand Up to Cancer its chosen charity this year. Since 2005, Nemo has raised more than £27,000 for various charities, and in its tenth year this focus on giving back to the community is stronger than ever.
