The DP World Tour is excited to announce the launch of ‘Nearest The Pin’, a brand-new interactive game which brings fans closer to the action at this week’s Genesis Scottish Open.

To coincide with the third Rolex Series event of the season, fans – both on-course and at home – will select and predict how near players in the featured groups will hit their tee shot to the pin on the par-three sixth at the Renaissance Club.
Beginning with Scotland’s national open, the game will also be available to play at the upcoming Horizon Irish Open, BMW PGA Championship and DP World Tour Championship.
How does it work?
For each of the featured groups, fans will select one golfer, the distance to the pin from five-feet brackets or whether they think the player will miss the green.
Users can access the game via a QR code or by opening the web browser.
With the featured groups announced, fans can start to make their predictions up until each group reaches the green.

Why should I play ‘Nearest The Pin’?
The game is both live and interactive, with fans able to compete with family, friends and golf fans around the world both on-course and at home.
Users will be able to see their predictions live on the on-course big screens, while there will be daily leaderboards for fans to follow how they are doing.
How are points awarded?

| 1 bonus point will be awarded if the user also predicts the correct distance bracket for the ball position to the pin |
| 4 points will be awarded if users correctly predict that all golfers miss the green per featured group |
| 20 points in total are available to obtain each day |
| A tie-breaker will be used to split tied fans at the top of the leaderboard |
Are there prizes to be won?
Prizes are on offer every tournament day, for every event that Nearest The Pin is live, ranging from a premium experience packages for two, general admission tickets to a DP World Tour event and a signed pin flag from this year’s event.
