Colin Montgomerie maintained his lead in the ACE Group Classic on the US Champions Tour thanks to a second round six under par 66 at TwinEagles Golf Club in Florida.
The 51 year old, who won the 2014 European Senior Tour Order of Merit, overcame a double bogey on the ninth with four birdies in his last six holes to match his first round score and move one shot clear of American Lee Janzen.
Germany’s Bernhard Langer also signed for a second round 66 to move into a share of fifth place, five shots off the lead.
