Minister Hepburn visits Scottish Open

Jamie Hepburn MSP, Scotland’s Minister for Sport, Health Improvement and Mental Health made a visit to the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open at Gullane on Friday afternoon.

Mr Hepburn was given a guided tour of the tournament site which included a special visit to the spectator’s village, where he met with Sophie Dow, the founder of the tournament’s Official Charity, Mindroom, as well as the organisations Chief Executive Christine Carlin.

After his visit to the village, Mr Hepburn joined the Clubgolf clinic, where Spanish star Miguel Angel Jimenez was in sensational form, giving local children some wonderful lessons and tips on how to improve their golf games.
