Maybank Championship day three - What they said

Danny Willett will take a commanding three-shot lead into the final round of the Maybank Championship after firing a second consecutive 67 on Saturday.

Here, we take a look at what some of those trying to chase him down had to say after their third rounds.

David Lipsky (68, -13)

"I played really well today, didn’t hit it my best coming into the greens. I drove it well and scrambled well and I’m pretty happy with what I shot. I'll just keep doing what I’m doing. I’m playing pretty well and giving myself opportunities. I’ll need to take advantage of the par fives, that’s what I need to do. My last birdie before 18 was on ten so I’m happy to have made that. Danny and I are friends and it’ll be neat out there competing."

Alexander Levy (67, -12)

"It was really good. I played very well today, especially from tee to green. I had a lot of good chances for birdie and I’m really happy with how I’ve been playing in the last three days. I used a lot of driver today from the tee, I was feeling really good with driver in my hand. It gave me a lot of wedge shots and I was also very aggressive with my wedges, made a few putts and that was great. I don’t think about past victories, it’s been tough for me the last few months. I have a new coach so to be in this situation now is very nice. Tomorrow I will enjoy being in this position."

Bernd Wiesberger (73, -11)

"I didn’t play great today obviously but I’ve got to say I was pretty good all through the round. I played better than the score I think. It was just completely opposite to yesterday, I couldn’t hole a putt and didn’t get the yardage. I didn’t get a break either like you need to so it was just frustrating. I would have loved to birdie the last obviously but it wasn’t my day today so I need a big one tomorrow."

Anirban Lahiri (69, -10)

"I'm quite disappointed, honestly. I played really well to start the round but just never got my putter going. I missed a bunch of putts on the front nine inside of five feet and that really killed the momentum. Then it got really windy from the middle part of the round until the end and it was important to get a really good start and I couldn’t take advantage of that. Still a good grind. I fought hard and came home stronger than what I have done in the past, so that’s a positive step. I’ll go into tomorrow feeling positive. There are a lot of things that I’m doing well and I’ve got to do that again."
