Manassero sets sights on Crans

Fresh from becoming the youngest player in history to win the BMW PGA Championship, Matteo Manassero has confirmed his involvement in the Omega European Masters.

The 20 year old Italian, who leapt to the top of The Race to Dubai following his play-off victory in The European Tour’s Flagship Event, will tee up for the fifth time at Crans Montana when the stunning Alpine venue hosts the Omega European Masters from September 5-8.

Manassero’s best performance in the €2.2million event came in 2010, when he finished in third place.

Having broken the record for the youngest player to win on The European Tour – Manassero was just 17 years and 188 days young when he won the 2010 Castelló Masters Costa Azahar – he will now bid to write another chapter in his remarkable career by succeeding Richie Ramsay as champion.
