After 87,000 spectators created a red and white curtain of support for the Danish and international players at last year’s Made in Denmark, and a whole new dimension will be added to this year’s third edition when a music festival takes place side-by-side with the event.
The management behind the two big Danish Music festivals NorthSide and Tinderbox will, together with Himmerland Golf & Spa Resort and Made in Denmark, turn the popular golf tournament into an immersive and diverse experience with world class golf, exhibitions and shows, food experiences, concerts and festival camping.
“Right from the beginning it has been the ambition to create an outright spectator festival, and we are doing that now by extending the Made in Denmark experience with evening and late night concerts and the opportunity to camp right next to the golf course”, said Made in Denmark Promoter, Flemming Astrup.
Owner of the two Danish Music Festivals, NorthSide and Tinderbox, Brian Nielsen said: “We look forward to contributing to the continuous development of Made in Denmark into a total experience for the spectators in the shape of top class Danish music artists, a broad selection of food and beverages and not least an improved service to spectators with the addition of camping by the course, as accommodation has been a challenge for many of the visitors.”
Made in Denmark Village, which last year had over 40 exhibitors and a large food and beverage area, sets the scene for Made in Denmark Festival 2016. Instantly, when the last putt is holed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the Made in Denmark Village will be transformed from a tented village into a festival with entertainment by a wide range of big Danish artists.
The performing artists at Made in Denmark Festival will be announced regularly over the next month.
All ticket holders have free access to all concerts Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
