After an intriguing first day of ups and downs at the Lyoness Open Powered by Greenfinity, europeantour.com takes a numerical look back at the best of the action from Diamond Country Club.

0 - Bogeys in Gregory Bourdy's superb, tournament-leading 65 - a round which featured seven fine birdies. Only two other players were flawless in the first rounds (Peter Lawrie, 68 and Mikko Korhonen, 69)

20 - The Frenchman had a ridiculously consistent day across the board, ranking inside the top 20 in all four of the main statistical categories (Driving Distance - 18th, Driving Accuracy T1st, Greens in Regulation - T2nd, Putts per Round - T14th)

102 - Weeks and 22 starts since Robert Dinwiddie shot a lower score on The European Tour than his 67 in the first round

100- Per cent of Greens in Regulation for Germany's Max Kieffer in his excellent 67 - more than anyone in the field

108 - Yardage of Gary Stal's spectacular eagle from the par four third fairway

5 - Pars in the Frenchman's madcap 68, a round which also featured the above eagle, seven birdies and five bogeys

73 - Doesn't tell the story of Antonio Hortal's rollercoaster first round, either. After reaching five under par through five holes, the Spaniard was six over par in the following 13 as the hugely testing middle portion of the championship course bit back

3 - Shots defending champion Mikael Lundberg was over par through three holes on Thursday morning before fighting back to shoot level par

91 - European Tour stroke play rounds since Bernd Wiesberger shot a higher score (An 80 in the first round of the 2014 Open de Espana)

13 - Shot difference between Chris Doak's first and second nine holes on Thursday as the Scot played the back nine first in 32 before coming home in 45 blows for a frustrating 77

3 - Inches Englishman Chris Paisley was away from winning the BMW i8 on offer for a hole in one at the 184-yard par three 18th

53 - Players under par after a day of low scoring in Austria

5 - Miles per hour increase in the wind and a minimum of three degrees higher temperature in the later hours equalled trickier conditions for the afternoon starters with firmer, faster greens
