The Swede reached the turn in 31 before coming home in 33 to finish the day on 64, levelling the course record set by Scott Jamieson on the final day of last year's tournament.

Lundberg got off to a dream start at Albatross Golf Resort, following up an eagle at the first with back to back birdies at the second and third to surge up the leaderboard.

The 42 year old made another gain at the short seventh before carding three birdies after the turn to finish on nine under par overall, two shots off the overnight lead held by Matt Fitzpatrick and Pelle Edberg.

America's Peter Uihlein also sits on nine under after posting a flawless 66 on Saturday.

Uihlein also eagled the first before birdies at the third and seventh saw him cover the front nine in 32.

He then made consecutive gains at the 11th and 12th before safely parring the final six holes.
