Levy back in the hunt

Alexander Levy picked up five shots in the first four holes after the turn to haul himself back into contention at the Lyoness Open powered by Greenfinity.

The Frenchman had look well poised after a first round 66 on Thursday, yet struggled to maintain that form 24 hours later when he started and finished with successive bogeys during a round of 75.

He was level par through his opening nine today but then started a run of eagle-birdie-par-eagle from the tenth to haul himself up the leaderboard.

Levy dropped a shot at the par three 15th to fall four shots off leader Joost Luiten, who tees off at 12:50.

Earlier, Sam Little had caught the eye by compiling seven birdies in a 66 which saw him muscle into the top five.
