Westwood and Levy, respectively 29th and 53rd in the World Ranking, are the latest stars to add their names to the field for the 99thedition of France’s national Open, which will be held from July 2-5.

Westwood, whose tenth and last appearance was in 2012, will be seeking his maiden victory in the Alstom Open de France. The 41 year old Englishman, a 23-time European Tour champion and winner of seven Ryder Cups, boasts four top ten finishes in the tournament, including a play-off loss to Martin Kaymer in 2009.

Levy, meanwhile, will be making his fifth successive appearance in his national Open. The 24 year old, who established himself as one of the country’s most promising young talents with his victories in the Volvo China Open and the Portugal Masters last season, will be one of the tournament’s main attractions.

The genial Frenchman will be aiming to improve on his 35th place finish last year, his best result in the event.
