Leishman stays ahead

Marc Leishman stayed on course for a first European Tour win as he made a steady start to the final round of the Nedbank Golf Challenge in Sun City.

The Australian could secure a double for his country following Nathan Holman's victory at the Australian PGA Championship earlier in the day, and he maintained a one-shot lead at 13 under through four holes at Gary Player Country Club.

Leishman bogeyed the third but so did nearest rival Henrik Stenson, with home favourite Jaco Van Zyl a further shot back after an eagle on the second.

Leishman and Stenson both looked to be in trouble on the first but the Swede did well to make par after sending his tee shot right while Leishman holed a testing putt from off the fringe.

Van Zyl had dropped a shot on the first but recovered with a brilliant approach on the next to secure his second eagle of the week and get to 11 under par - having picked up six shots over the week on the second.

Stenson was left off the tee on the third and had to lay up, resulting in a dropped shot, while Leishman also gave one back after finding the sand with his second shot.

Pars followed at the fourth for the leading group with Robert Streb the next closest challenger at eight under having dropped a shot at the fifth.

Turkish Airlines Open champion Victor Dubuisson had three birdies from the fourth to get into the group at seven under alongside Thongchai Jaidee and Louis Oosthuizen.
