Kruyswijk catches Dunne after early birdie blitz

Jacques Kruyswijk joined Paul Dunne at the top of the Open de España leaderboard after making a blistering start to his third round on Saturday.

The South African fired eight birdies in his first ten holes - including six in a row from the first - to get to 13 under par and grab a share of the lead before Dunne had even teed off.

Home favourite Nacho Elvira, six-time European Tour winner Brett Rumford and England's Callum Shinkwin were another three shots back on ten under, with their third rounds not beginning until the afternoon.

Japan's Hideto Tanihara and China's Ashun Wu set the early clubhouse target after producing third-round 67s to get to nine under.
