The German, who won the Dutch event in 2010, will make his first appearance at The Dutch in Spijk, the Netherlands when he tees it up there next month.

Kaymer is the ninth former KLM Open champion who will compete in the sole Dutch event on the European’s Tour International Schedule, which will take place from September 13-16.

The former World Number One will join a star-studded field which will include fellow Major Champions José María Olazábal, Padraig Harrington and Angel Cabrera.

"I am very happy that Martin is coming to the Netherlands," said Daan Slooter, Tournament Director of the KLM Open. "I know he is always enjoying himself at the KLM Open, it is almost a home tournament for him. He is one of the most successful golfers of this generation and a great addition to the already impressive field of participants of 2018."
