Brett Rumford and Mark Foster shared a one-shot lead after the first round of the ISPS HANDA World Super 6 Perth with 23 players separated by just two shots at Lake Karrinyup Country Club.

Robert Dinwiddie (67, -5)
"I'm very happy. I hit a lot of nice shots, putted nicely, and considering I haven't really played much at all recently - I've been in England where it's freezing cold - and my swing hasn't been feeling completely comfortable, it felt pretty good in moments today. A win would be a dream come true. That's so what I need right now to try and get myself back to where I'd like to be on Tour. I just lost my card last year. I'll still get some starts but I haven't got full status so that would be great. But there's a long, long way to go. I have to get used to the TV cameras being around if that's the case."
Jason Scrivener (67, -5)
"I wasn't quite expecting to shoot five under the way I started today but I finished nicely and kept the mistakes off the card. It's very different, usually you play a lot more defensive hitting into the greens and you have to be really cautious of missing in the wrong spots and stuff. But it was perfect out there this morning, greens are soft and you can be a lot more aggressive."
Hideto Tanihari (67, -5)
"It was windy in the afternoon and judging the winds you had to be very precise but I did that well and rolled it well on the greens so I'm really happy and satisfied with a five under first-round score. My first goal is to just get to Sunday. Playing in a match where there's only six holes will be different and I'm really looking forward to hopefully playing that day. The goal now is to get to the top 50 in the world, which gets me into the Masters and I'm 58th in the world right now. I'll try to get as many tournaments as I can, play well, get points and just do my best."
Dimitrios Papadatos (68, -4)
"It wasn't too bad today. I knew it was going to be a bit tough backing up after last week so I tried to rest up the last couple of days and just refresh. You always know it's a new week, so what happened last week doesn't matter. It's just nice to be playing well again. I was putting really well today. I got off to a really good start, I was five under through six and then just putted out a bit but made a couple of soft bogeys. I played a bit average on the back nine, I made a couple of really soft mistakes but still hung in there and finished off all right."
