The 2018 GolfSixes event was the first European Tour event ever to feature mens teams, womens teams and mixed teams. The week did not disappoint. Represented by players such as Catriona Matthews, Melissa Reid, Georgia Hall, Charley Hull and Carlota Ciganda, the women put on a show all week and whilst they weren't able to claim the title, they did win an award.
England's Charley Hull has won the European Tour's Shot of the Month award for May, after a fan vote. With all eyes on her on the first tee of the first match on Saturday, the 22 year old showed no sign of nerves hitting an incredible shot into the opening par three that very nearly went in.

Hull's shot beat competition from Branden Grace, Nicolas Colsaerts and Joakim Lagergren to win the May award, having received a staggering 60 percent of the fans vote on Twitter.
"It' was great fun." said Hull after the opening day. "I just feel good vibes from this event and I think it's really good you see so many children and women enjoying the tournament. It's a really good event for golf."
