The European Challenge Tour today confirms the cancellation of the Hopps Open de Provence, scheduled for September 24-27, due to the ongoing challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
France and particularly the Provence Côte d'Azur region, is still feeling the effects of the Covid-19 crisis and with the health and safety of the players, members and public in mind, it has been agreed to cancel the tournament.
The Challenge Tour would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to Julien Nazarian, the Tournament Promoter, the staff and members of Pont Royal Golf Club, the French Golf Federation and the Hopps Group for their efforts in trying to stage this year’s event and we look forward to the third edition of the Hopps Open de Provence next year.
