The Hero Indian Open is returning later this month to usher in a new era in Indian golf with an enhanced prize purse and several first-time incentives.
The 2024 edition of the country's national open and flagship golf tournament will be held from March 28-31 at DLF Golf & Country Club, Gurugram.
Now in its 57th edition, the tournament will carry a record prize purse of US$2.25million and forms part of the DP World Tour's Asian Swing. The Hero Indian Open will be the second of five events comprising the Asian Swing as part of the new-look 2024 Race to Dubai.
Hero MotoCorp has been the Title Sponsor of the tournament since 2005 and marks two decades of a fruitful relationship with India's apex golfing body, the Indian Golf Union. This is also the tenth year of the tournament's association with the DP World Tour.
