The Hangzhou Open is one of back-to-back elevated events set to take place in China as part of the final stages of the 2024 Road to Mallorca.
The year-long schedule includes two events in China for the first time in five years.
China made a return to the Challenge Tour schedule last year with players teeing it up in the Hainan Open on the penultimate week of the season, and they will do so again in 2024, with the Hainan Open and Hangzhou Open taking place in consecutive weeks.
Ricardo Gouveia made it two wins on the season with his triumph on Hainan Island just three months ago, and in doing so all-but secured his return to the DP World Tour.
With additional Road to Mallorca Ranking points available at both the Hainan Open and Hangzhou Open, players will be hoping to make a late charge for a place in the field at the season-ending Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final supported by the R&A.
