The Argentinian beat the sunset on Thursday evening to card a course-record equalling 65 and lead by two but after a long day at DLF Golf and Country Club, 24 players were left with holes to complete on Friday on morning.

One of those was Keith Horne and while the South African birdied the ninth upon the resumption to reduce the overnight lead to one, Grillo soon set about re-establishing his dominance in round two.

The 25 year old made birdies on the 11th, 12th and 18th to get to ten under and lead the way from Horne, who bogeyed the third and birdied the fourth in the first five holes of his second round.

England's Matt Wallace and Frenchman Adrien Saddier were then both at five under alongside later starters Pablo Larrazábal, Matteo Manassero and Paul Peterson.

Wallace had birdies on the third, fourth and eighth but a bogey on the seventh in his first eight holes, while Saddier had a birdie on the tenth and a bogey on the 14th in his first five.

Another Frenchman in Sébastien Gros was one under through 11 holes to sit six shots off the lead, one clear of Swede Jens Dantorp, Dutchman Joost Luiten, Austrian Matthias Schwab and South Korea's Jeunghun Wang.
