England's Richard Bland and Australian Richard Green got their third rounds off to impressive starts at the Estoril Open de Portugal.
With Carlos Del Moral and Thomas Björn leading at halfway on 12 under yet to tee off, former Dubai Desert Classic winner Green set about making inroads into their lead with birdies at the second and third.
That took the left-hander to ten under for the week, alongside Bland - who is still seeking a maiden European Tour title.
Five birdies in his first seven holes gave the 37 year old renewed hope of ending his wait, and Dane Mark F Haastrup also reached ten under with a birdie at the first.
Three players who were on ten under overnight, Ireland's Damien McGrane and English pair Robert Coles and Steve Webster, were playing the first.
