British golf fans will be given the opportunity to get even closer to former World Number One Luke Donald, Olympics hero Justin Rose and the stars of the European Tour, as 18th grandstand tickets for the British Masters supported by Sky Sports go on sale today.
The tournament will be played at The Grove in Hertfordshire for the first time from October 13-16, and many of the biggest names in the game are set to arrive on English soil in the hope of emulating 2015 champion Matt Fitzpatrick.
The 21 year old home hero, now set for a Ryder Cup debut next month, clinched his maiden European Tour title at Woburn Golf Club last year, before being sprayed with champagne on the 18th green, and now the British golf fans can make sure they have a front seat for the drama this time around.
Just 200 tickets for reserved seats at the grandstand on the final hole go on sale today at the European Tour’s official ticket page, with tickets for Saturday’s play priced at £10 while tickets for the final day drama cost £15.
More than 57,000 spectators attended last year’s British Masters supported by Sky Sports at Woburn. This year’s venue, in the village of Chandler’s Cross, previously hosted the WGC – American Express Championship in 2006, which was won by Tiger Woods.
