Genworth Stats Pack - Round 3 Review

Brody Ninyette converted seven birdies against two bogeys on his way to a third round 67, to lead by one going into Sunday. Looking at his Genworth Statistics, the 22 year old Australian golfer ranks lower than expected for Driving Accuracy, but the combination of 5th for Greens in Regulation and 4th for Putts per GIR highlights some very accurate approach play, enabling him to accumulate 15 birdies in total so far and score very well across the different hole types.

Brett Rumford fired eight birdies against a single bogey on his way to a superb third round 65 (the low round of the day). Looking at his Genworth Statistics, the 36 year old Australian golfer is ranking high (as usual) for the short game and putting categories, plus he leads the par 3 Scoring with a 2.75 average (alongside Finch and Lamb). An incredible year could get even better over the final day, with Brett vying for his third European Tour title of the year (on home soil).

JB Hansen was one of three players to navigate the Lake Karrinyup course without dropping a shot on his way to a third round 66. Looking at his Genworth Statistics, the 23 year old Danish golfer is strong across the board, averaging a huge 305 yards for Driving Distance, 70.4% for Greens in Regulation, 75.0% for Scrambles and 29.0 Putts per Round. JB is dropping comparatively few shots and scoring extremely well on the Par 4’s and Par 5’s (although he is yet to birdie a Par 3).

Jin Jeong converted five birdies against two bogeys on his way to a third round 69. Looking at his Genworth Statistics, the 23 year old Korean golfer is performing superbly from tee to green, with 33/42 fairways and 41/54 Greens in Regulation (plus 4 sub-regulation hits on the Par 5’s). A good final day on the greens and Jin may emerge as a surprise winner this week.
