Genworth Stats Pack - Round 2 Review

Morten Ørum Madsen recorded a mixed bag of scores, including one eagle, five birdies, two bogeys and two double-bogeys on his way to a second round 71. Looking at his Genworth Statistics, the 25 year old Danish golfer has only hit 50% of the fairways so far and his Par 3 Scoring is comparatively poor at 3.25. But with some great putting and plenty of birdies, last week’s winner has been able to cope with a few mistakes and maintain a tie for the lead going into the weekend.

Charl Schwartzel converted four birdies on his way to a bogey free second round 68, ominously moving up into a tie for the lead alongside Madsen. Looking at his Genworth Statistics, the 29 year old South African is averaging 301 yards for Driving Distance and hitting 72.2% of the Greens in Regulation, but most impressive of all he ranks 1st for both Putts per Round and 1 Putts per Round (accumulating a total of 20 single putts over the first two days).

Ross Fisher converted one eagle and six birdies against a single bogey on his way to a second round 65. Looking at his Genworth Statistics, the 33 year old English golfer is performing very consistenly from tee to green, ranking high for each of the long game categories, plus he ranks 1st for Par 5 Scoring with a 4.38 average.

Soren Hansen converted eight birdies against a single bogey on his way to a second round 65 (the lowest round of the day alongside Fisher). Not all of his Genworth Statistics were available at the time of this report, but we can see that the 39 year old Danish golfer is scoring heavily on the Par 4’s and Par 5’s.
