Scot Gallacher has shown some encouraging signs of a return to form lately with two top tens already this season and he turned in 33 before parring the tenth to get to three under.

Kinhult is playing his rookie season on the European Tour and finished third at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters while Lagergren - one of the Tour's most consistent performers in recent seasons - is looking to kick-start his campaign after making just three of eight cuts so far.

Another Swede in Jens Dantorp, English pair Oliver Fisher and Eddie Pepperell, Italian Renato Paratore and Australian Jason Scrivener were then at two under.

Gallacher had birdies on the third, fourth, sixth and eighth with a bogey on the fifth, while his co-leaders were both bogey-free.

Lagergren had birdies on the first, third and fourth in his first six holes, while Kinhult made gains on the fifth, sixth and eighth in his first eight.

Fisher had two birdies in 11 holes, Pepperell was bogey-free as he turned in 34, and Scrivener and Dantorp also had two birdies in eight and five holes respectively.

Paratore started with a bogey on the tenth but then made gains on the 12th, 15th and 16th.

Multiple European Tour winners Joost Luiten, Andy Sullivan and Ashun Wu were at one under in a group also including top-ranked Moroccan Ahmed Marjan and local amateur Ayoub Id-Omar.
