Fitzpatrick and Willett out in front

Matt Fitzpatrick and Danny Willett remained the men to beat on day four of the Omega European Masters, but it was fellow Englishman Tyrrell Hatton who stole the show on Sunday afternoon.

After carding a six under par 64 on Saturday to share the overnight lead with Willett, Fitzpatrick opened his final round with a bogey at the par four first before firing four birdies in his next eight holes to reach the turn in 32 and move onto 15 under par.

Willett was one shot off the lead after posting a front nine score of 33, but he found himself back at the top of the leaderboard after Fitzpatrick dropped his second shot of the day at the 11th.

Meanwhile Hatton carded an eagle and four further birdies as he went out in 29 to pile the pressure on the leaders.

Robert Dinwiddie finished on eight under after a final round score of 63, which included five birdies and an eagle, while David Howell also shot 63 to move onto six under par.
