Fernandez stays ahead in Bad Ragaz

Chile’s Angel Fernandez remained in control of the Bad Ragaz PGA Seniors Open, reaching 11 under par in the second round following birdies at the fourth and sixth holes.

Fernandez, who shot a stunning course record-equalling nine under par 61 on the first day, was two shots ahead of Scot Andrew Oldcorn, who was two under for his round at the halfway point, while Austrian Claude Grenier two under after nine to reach eight under par overall.

Australian Peter Fowler and Englishman Andrew Sherborne were both seven under par, three under and two under for their rounds respectively.
