Last week, German Martin Kaymer successfully defended his Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship title with an emphatic eight-shot victory, moving him up to World Number Two behind Lee Westwood.

Congratulations to OmarB, whose team of Razor Backs gained €1,080,372 in prize money to top the first weekly leaderboard and will receive a European Tour Shoe Bag and Pitch Repair Kit.

The Razor Backs team included all the top four finishers in Abu Dhabi, as well as Gareth Maybin, who finished in a two-way tie for fifth.

Now focus turns to Bahrain and you can make up to five changes to your team before 00:00 GMT on Thursday, 27th January.

And if you missed the first event, enter this week and even those with a slight headstart will have gained little advantage as there is still so much to be played for this season.

Plus there are of course some fantastic weekly, monthly and season prizes including European Tour merchandise, stacks of Titleist equipment or the ultimate prize of a five-night holiday to Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai with two business class tickets with Emirates and golf at Jumeirah Golf Estates – it is definitely worth playing the game!

And once again we have a few tips to help you with theAt-a-Glance Form Guide.

The Colin Montgomerie-designed course is hosting a European Tour event for the first time so there is no past form to go on but the course has the hallmarks of a classic Montgomerie / European Golf Design as an authentic links golf experience in the desert, with fast running fairways and open approaches to firm greens to promote the ground game.

Good luck for this week's event.
