Only a 10 minute drive out of the noisy city to come down to the quiet ocean bay, arriving at the southernmost golf course in China - Sanya Luhuitou Golf Club, which is concept from the beautiful love story legend - between the Hunter and the Deer.
Sanya Luhuitou Golf Club is designed by Neil Haworth, the chief designer from N&H Golf Architects Ltd., Co. This is Par 72 championship golf course, and the only one with 18 holes flood lit. The course covers an area of 73.37 hectares, 7268 yards, 64 bunkers, and 100,000 square meter lake, and this is the only one course surrounded by two bays in China. The design fully takes advantage of the peninsula, to create the narrow and rolling fairways and splendid bunkers. This along with the strong wind play a major part in golf course, and all these make a true test for any standard of golfer.
It includes 2 ocean view fairways and 15 lagoon fairways. The mountain and lake are next to each other, creating a harmonious atmosphere. It is a great pleasure to play golf in such a wonderful environment.
The course was opened in 2008.
