In Portugal the finale to Genworth Financial’s 2010 Putts4Charity programme took place with a ‘Pro Putt Challenge’. Eight European Tour players, including Ryder Cup stars Ross Fisher, Miguel Angel Jiménez, Francesco and Edoardo Molinari took part in a knockout putting competition to raise funds for this year’s main beneficiary, SOS Children’s Village.
In a special feature ETW visits The Celtic Manor Resort two weeks after The Ryder Cup matches to speak with the greenkeeping staff to find out how they coped with the conditions during the event.
