Last year at Bethpage Black in Farmingdale, New York, Lucas Glover survived a wet week that went into Monday and held off Phil Mickelson, David Duval and Ricky Barnes to win his first major at the age of twenty nine. ETW catches up with the American from South Carolina, who finished third at the Players Championship this year, ahead of his defence.

England’s James Morrison will be making his US Open debut after winning the sectional qualifier at Walton Heath. The Surrey player who finished 18th on the Challenge Tour rankings last year to gain his card for  the Main Tour has been enjoying a great rookie season, including a  maiden win in the Madeira Islands Open BPI - Portugal. ETW talks to James about playing in his first major championship.

This week we have a second preview from the Saint-Omer Open presented by Neuflize OBC, in Northern France, an event which holds dual ranking with the Challenge Tour.

As always we will review all of the best of the action from the most recent European Tour event. This week that means a trip to Lisbon’s coast for the Estoril Open de Portugal. European Tour Weekly will highlight the best of the action from scenic Penha Longa Golf Club in Sintra.

Together with all of the latest news and statistics from the Tour, this completes another edition of European Tour Weekly.
