Using the social media giant’s Facebook Live platform, the European Tour will take fans around the world inside the famous gates of Wentworth Club, England, to provide an exclusive insight into one of the most well-regarded tournaments in golf.

From fascinating hole walks with former champions to intimate one-on-one Q & A sessions with European Tour players, from unmatched access to the stars featuring in the Celebrity Pro-Am event to fan-led tours of the venue and Championship Village – all this and more will be found on the European Tour’sFacebook pagestarting Tuesday May 24.

Rufus Hack, Head of Media, Digital and Strategy at the European Tour, said: “We are thrilled to be working ever closer with Facebook and believe their Facebook Live product will provide an excellent window into life on the European Tour.

“It’s a great platform whether that’s for delivering information, exclusive behind-the-scenes content or engaging with our global fan-base with audience interaction, questions and requests.”
