The European Tour and BMW took the opportunity to officially welcome the Reignwood Group – the new owners of Wentworth Club – to the European Tour’s flagship event, the BMW PGA Championship, in a reception in the clubhouse on Saturday night.
Dr Chanchai Ruayrungruang, Chairman of Reignwood Group, and Ambassador Liu Niaoming, the Chinese Ambassador to London, met with Dr Ian Robertson, Member of the Board BMW AG Sales and Marketing and Graeme Grieve, Chief Executive Officer of BMW Group UK and Ireland, as well as European Tour Chief Executive George O’Grady and Chairman of the European Tour, David Williams.
