Europe hold six of world's top seven places

Europe now occupies six of the top seven places in the Official World Golf Rankings with Paul Casey moving ahead of Tiger Woods.

Casey moved up to seventh ahead of the former World Number One, even though he missed the cut at the Wells Fargo Championship in North Carolina.

Woods missed the event with knee and Achilles injuries, but has entered this week's Players Championship in Florida, and only Phil Mickelson in fourth spot breaks the European stranglehold.

Thomas Aiken moved up 31 places from 104th to 73rd with his victory in the Open de España at Real Golf El Prat, Barcelona.

Lucas Glover shot into the top 50 in 49th place, his win in the Wells Fargo Championship lifting him from 110th.
