Golf Club Adamstal plays host to the Euram Bank Open for the seventh time this week. Here are three players to look out for…
Form horse: Conor Purcell
Conor Purcell arrives at GC Adamstal in fine form, having recorded five op 20 finishes in his last six starts on the Challenge Tour.
The Irishman, who is playing the Euram Bank Open for the third time, lies 21st on the Road to Mallorca Rankings and will enter the top 20 with another strong performance.
Local boy: Timon Baltl
Timon Baltl has been part of the field for every edition of the Euram Bank Open and has made the cut at GC Adamstal for the last four years running.
The Austrian finished tied for eighth at last month’s Kaskáda Golf Challenge having been in contention throughout the weekend, and will be looking to build on that performance in pursuit of a fairytale victory on home turf.
The outsider: Marc Hammer
Marc Hammer returns to a happy hunting ground at GC Adamstal this week, having claimed a maiden Challenge Tour victory here in 2022. While the German is still searching for his best form in 2024, he showed promising signs with a season-best tenth place finish last time out at the Le Vaudreuil Golf Challenge.
