Etulain falls short in Peru

Challenge Tour Member Julian Etulain of Argentina fell short of his quest to secure back to back titles on the Tour de las Americas (TLA) when after finishing runner-up at last week’s Toyota Peru Open.

Etulain was pipped to the prize by Chile’s Benjamin Alvarado, who prevailed by two strokes at Los Inkas Golf Club, in Peru.

Alvarado’s victory saw him move to the top of the TLA order of merit at the expense of Challenge Tour champion Joaquin Estevez of Argentina, who won the season-opening Abierto Internacional Copa Antioquia.
