Etulain and Wagner in the hunt in Peru

Challenge Tour Members Julian Etulain and Alan Wagner remain in contention at the Toyota Peru Open on the Tour de las Americas (TLA).

Etulain, seeking back to back wins on the TLA, carded a round of 67 to move into a share of second place with compatriot Miguel Rodríguez on eight under par, four strokes behind the leader Benjamin Alvarado of Chile, who posted a best-of-the-day score of 65.

Wagner is a further stroke behind Etulain in a tie for fourth place after the Buenos Aires native, who won the 2009 Club Colombia Masters on the Challenge Tour, signed for a round of 71 on the third day at Los Inkas Golf Club, in Peru.
