Entry forms are now available for The 2018 Senior Open presented by Rolex, which will take place on the famed Old Course at St Andrews from July 26-29.
The strongest ever field is expected to assemble on the hallowed links later this year, as Bernhard Langer will attempt to become the first person since Christy O'Connor Jnr to defend the Senior Claret Jug after his victory at Royal Porthcawl in 2017.
The two-time Masters Tournament champion made history last year after winning a record tenth Senior Major Championship, finishing three strokes ahead of fellow former Ryder Cup Captain Corey Pavin.
Langer is expected to be joined by as many as 30 former Ryder Cup players and nearly a dozen former captains for the 32nd edition of the Championship.
In addition to players who are exempt, a minimum of 24 spots will be contested in the Monday Qualifiers taking place at Fairmont St Andrews, Ladybank, Lundin and Scotscraig.
